Pattaya’s Nightlife can be very exciting, and can be very cheap if you go about it the correct way. The Nightlife in Pattaya can easily burn holes into your wallet if you are not careful though, we would advise you take extreme caution and ensure that you spend with in your limits and remember that those lady drinks will add up over time!

Pattaya Bar’s

Pattaya started as a great place with many bar’s, the bars in Pattaya Will generally employ somewhere from 3 to 10 girls to work in the bar. This will depend on where the bar is located, how popular the bar gets and how much the owner is willing to spend on employment. Bar Girls job is generally to try and draw customers into the buy to buy drinks, they will do this by grabbing at customers, offering games to janga or connect 4, bar girls will also usually be very good at pool! Bar Girls will ask customer’s to buy them lady drinks, these are usually non-alcoholic drinks that cost extra because a tip will go to the girl.

Bar’s in Pattaya will often have large TV’s for people to watch sports, pool tables or a dart board. Every Bar in Pattaya will have a janga game and a few connect 4 boards. These are very popular in bars, and although gambling is illegal in Thailand – the bar girls will often be keen to play for 50 or 100 baht, as they will usually win and this can add up to a great little tip at the end of a session! Bars in Pattaya will generally have a 300-700 baht bar fine for you to take the girl, bars are also often owned by western expats as they are a cheap easy way to find a way to relocate to Thailand, and Pattaya on a full time basis; if you are looking for some conversation there is a chance the owner may be from the country you have come from!

Pattaya Go-Go’s

Pattaya is now very famous for the amount of Go-Go’s that can be found there; far more then its sister locations, Phuket and Bangkok’s Soi Cowboy and Nana Plaza. The Go-Go’s in Pattaya are very professional offering great shows with girls that know exactly what they are doing. Go-Go’s in Pattaya will often have a slightly higher charge for drinks, and they will also ask for extra money when it comes to the lady drinks and the bar fine. It is possible that some go gos will ask for up ward of 1500 baht for a girl to leave the go-go, this is because the girls are harder to come by then bar girls as there is a certain skill to what is required on stage.

Go-Go’s are also a little famous for trying to over charge customers, it is the under standing of Best Hotel Pattaya that these issues are getting less frequent but it should be advised that you pay for each drink as you get it, and do not use a “check bin”, there are many storeys of people getting very large bills because they had no idea what they would have to pay for a drink. It is clearly a small minority that do this, we just believe you should take caution if you are going to a Go-Go for a drink and some fun!

Pattaya Nightclubs

There are a number of great and popular nightclubs in Pattaya, it is a very common fact that these place’s will fill with bar girls after the bars close. They do this because they hope they will still find a farang that will be keen to take them for the night. Nightclubs in Pattaya generally charge the same for drinks as the bars do, the night clubs do not have girls that work there so there is no bar fine. Nightclubs in Pattaya will also allow you to buy a large bottle, and with this they will provide a number of free soft drinks to mix to alcohol with – this can be a fantastic way for a large group to save money on a big night out!

Nightclubs in Pattaya play a range of music, and some even have live bands. Young crowds from 18-30 can find a few places that will play Hip Hop, House and all that new stuff that they seem to live so very much! The older crowd can always find some great place’s to chill after the bars close also, with live bands, older music – you will find something for you taste in Pattaya even after the bar’s close.

The night clubs will always have securty which can be agreat thing, bar girls can have a tendancy to fight after a few to many drinks although it seems the number of westerns causing trouble after a few to many is going up aswell.
